Emily Counts was born in Seattle, Washington and is a ceramic artist currently based in Portland, Oregon. She has a background in sculpture and painting with a BFA from the California College of the Arts. Her current art practice focuses on ceramic sculpture and experimentation with stacked and connected objects.
Her St. Eloy range is a collection of jewelry and ceramics inspired by geological formations, medieval craftsmanship, and mid-century modernism that embodies both the past and the future. Emily creates pieces in enduring elemental materials such as bronze, stoneware and porcelain with an aim to create a balance between geometric and organic forms and patterns.
Koromiko currently has a collection of unique ceramic wall beads from the St. Eloy range. Each one a unique statement piece of art for your wall. You can view the whole collection here: St Eloy
